For the past 12 years, Anna Lowrie has been instructing various color guards, and has devoted the past 4 of those years to the Marching Cougars. While color guard is a passion, she also teaches English at the high school. Originally from Philadelphia, she attended West Chester University to earn her teaching degree, was part of the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band, and is a sister of the music service sorority, Tau Beta Sigma.
In life, she believes that honesty, hard work, and determination are key to achieving one's personal success. Additionally, an unselfish generosity and a consideration for the needs of others is essential for becoming a well-rounded individual. Marching band - especially the color guard - has most certainly been that outlet for her to help others find their true selves.
